3D Digital Product Developer (Apparel) Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking 3D Digital Product Developer to take charge of Digital Product Creation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional garment engineering and advanced digital visualization with CLO 3D. You will mainly work for dressing-up costume, and a few other fashion brands to facilitate the development.


Key Responsibilities

3D Digital Asset Creation & Visualization

  • 3D Garment Sewing: Conduct 3D sewing with the provision of fabric and paper pattern with CLO 3D

  • Artwork Integration: Handle Illustrator and Photoshop artwork file & placement and apply in 3D garment. Export in 2D pattern for printing & embroidery purposes

  • Render & Animation Excellence: Generate 3D renders, 360-degree turntable animations for internal reviews & design alignment

Technical Construction & Virtual Fit

  • Digital Fit & Pattern Verification: Conduct virtual fit assessments using personalized digital avatars, stress maps, and strain analysis to identify and correct pattern, balance, or tension defects prior to physical sampling.

  • Product Development: Communicate with the pattern maker for pattern / graphic alternation


Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Pattern Making, or a closely related technical field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

  • Experience: Hands-on experience utilizing 3D apparel software in a commercial manufacturing or production environment. Proven experience utilizing 3D apparel software in commercial production; company experience preferred.


Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in using CLO 3D at least 2 years of experience. Knowing others 3D (BZW / Style 3D) software would be an extra advantage.

  • Garment Engineering: Basic knowledge of traditional pattern making, garment construction, fabric knowledge, and sewing construction.

Language & Location Requirements

  • Location: Stationed in China.

  • Language Skills: Professional proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is required for daily technical communication with local sample rooms and factories. Fluency in written and spoken English is a major plus for seamless reporting and cross-functional brand alignment.

  • Actual salary depends on experience, qualifications, and assigned unit.
